I am a passionate singer/songwriter and I am currently writing my own album. I have a passion for travel and have lived in Turkey and Belgium, which has given me excellent adaptation skills, and the ability to work with a diverse range of people. I also have a strong passion for art, culture and history. I am an enthusiastic, bubbly person who loves being on stage, but I am also excited to learn more about the technical side of theatre.

General Experience

I have been involved in musicals and plays since the age of 4 achieving many principle and chorus roles in productions all around London. At the age of 13 I moved to turkey and began performing in productions with”Stage on the run“theatre Company. Shows with them include: Suessical (The sour kangaroo), Gel (Karen/Queen Bodicea) High school musical (Taylor), and Aladdin (Hair and make up). I also played the part of Ms Hannigan (Annie) at Oasis International School. My most recent performance in a musical was we will rock you (Killer Queen) at ACS International School, the school which I am attending now.
Other Experience: I sung with the Ankara Accapella Chior covering mostly classical music and performing at many different venues including a concert at the British Embassy Ankara. I also sung in the very credible New London Children’s Choir for a period of time this year. I entered the UK competition “Live and Unsigned” and made it too the finals.

I have also worked as a stage manager at Leatherhead theatre (Guilford.) I sang in the O2 arena with my school Choir at the event “Voice in a million.” I have done a professional voice over for a English learning program in Turkey.

I am able to direct, design, perform, and I have had experience in all of those areas.

Qualifications & Training

Vocal Teachers: Annie Park (contemporary), Samantha Lees (musical theatre), and Elizabeth Wilcox (Opera.) I also attended Sylvia young theatre school on Saturdays for acting classes. I am taking IB theatre (expected A+) IB music (expected B) drama class (A+), and choir (A+) at school. Styles
I am able to sing Jazz, some opera, pop, musical numbers, soul, R&B, ballads, and rock.
I have attended summer schools at Guildhall School of Music, and The Institution of Contemporary Music.

Miscellaneous Information

I achieved “performing arts student of the year” for both 2010 and 2011 at two different schools, during my IB course. This award was given to the student with the most discipline as a performer, talent and the best academic grades in music, dance, and theatre.

My favourite Cliché associated with music is “music is the soul of life”. I have no doubt that it is the soul of mine, because without it I would not have the confidence, determination and dedication that I have today to be striving to achieve the furthest destination on my road of musical progression.
