47 years old have a real lust for life,,,
Gave up nursing after 27 years to pursue acting,,,I\'m dedicated to anything I do and when I set goals I achieve them. In the last 3 years I\'ve lost a whopping 7 stone in weight and I now run every day if I can...when I put my mind to it I believe I can do it...nothing is Impossible, after all I\'m possible! Been in several independent productions and also supporting artists work (recent feature in a Bollywood). I play characters that are steely yet fragile.

Relevant Skills

All transferable skills from 27 years in the care sector and adapted into my acting. Easy to work with, I can fit in to any given situation, I take direction and absorb critiquing well (thick skin!). Good listener and relish in the company of people from all walks of life but also really enjoy my own company. I strive for perfection in everything I do. I'm professional and courteous and have good values which underpin me as a person.

Interests & Hobbies

I rescued a small puppy while on holiday in Cyprus 3 years ago and this highlighted to me the need to do more, raise awareness with animal welfare,,in-between that I also stay connected with the support services I previouslay managed (homelessness and drug addiction/mental health) do again I do occasional training days to create awareness and ensure people who work in the sector become the best practitioners they can be. I'm flexible with time, I live with my partner, my dog and 2 cats in South Queensferry Edinburgh. I'm a car driver and love exploring new places particularly in Scotland.

Miscellaneous Information

When I'm in character I can shed a tear at a moment then stand up and fight again the very next moment. Acting has become a very important part of my life,,,,if anyone had said that to me 2 years ago,,that I would have been acting,,,I would have laughed! But here I am....living my own dream.
