General Experience

I have been a web designer/software developer since I was ten years old.

I have loved music in all its forms from being a baby. I began playing an instrument as soon as I could but was listening to music long before then. The first record I bought was "Uptown Girl" by "Billy Joel". I now have very varied tastes when it comes to music and entertainment.

I am currently writing my autobiography as I have had quite an eventful life, most recently going through three years of cancer treatment, starting in the cervix and then moving to the stomach, I have been in remission for six months.

I suffer from Bipolar type II but I am on medication and the condition is controlled and stable.

Qualifications & Training

I have grade 5 theory of music, grade 8 clarinet and grade 6 piano.

I now play Clarinet, Saxophone, Flute, Keyboard, Guitar and penny whistle.

I began dancing when I was at primary school, Ballet. I then studied ballroom dancing in Ashington Northumberland. Although did not take it forward professionally something I deeply regret.

After university I started line dancing and qualified for the British Championships.

Since then I have taken classes in Burlesque, Belly dancing, salsa and Zumba.

I was in many plays at school and was considered quite the actress by all but my drama teacher so lost even more confidence. Since then through work I have taken assertiveness training and public speaking classes to combat this.

I regular delivered courses to upwards of 30 people at one time. I also appeared in a few corporate training videos as well as the global company magazine.
