I am a vivacious mixed race African Contemporary and Contemporary dancer but in total I have trained in 15 different dance styles. I am a strong, versatile and driven dancer and human being who learns fast, thinks on her feet and embraces challenges. I am quirky and a little off centre :)

I have taken part in several musicals including The Hot Mikado. I have been part of a Cabaret Duo with singer Lize Ehlers with sold out shows of "Raw Cabaret" (2010) which was brought back by popular demand. The songs included Cabaret, Fur Mich, Wilkommen and Edith Piaf's Non, je ne Regrette Rien. Lize Ehlers and I also created a show called Tutus and Takkies in which we both sang, danced and recited poetry. The songs included Bohemian Rhapsody, Mississippi Goddamn, Lize's own music and Regina Spektor.

Was the main dancer in 'The Creation', a show celebrating 20 years of Namibian Independence

I have been an extra in several films and commercials in Namibia and South Africa, including for Akbank (Turkey) Oshosheni Hivelua (film maker) Perivi Katjivivi (film maker) as well as being featured in a music video by South African hip-hop artist Weez.

Relevant Skills

I am a fully trained dance teacher (both practical and theory) as well as social anthropologist. At the beginning of this year (2010) I co-started Namibia's first contemporary dance company; First Rain Dance Theatre, which has given me experience in business administration, web design, production, direction and the general running of a company. I have been mentored by Producer and Director Sandy Rudd who has given me invaluable skills in lighting, sound, set design and construction of a fluid theatre production.
