About Me

I am always creating something, whether it be a new song in my home studio, or a short film to put on YouTube, I am always at it. I'm not sure what I would do if I were unable to flex my artistic creativity.

I am a responsible family man. I consider myself to be athletic. I am a keen cyclist and tennis player. I like to think that I am always up to date with current events. I do not read gossip magazines or watch much television and as a result, I have no idea who half of the current "celebrities" are in Britain. I find this trait to be invaluable when spending long periods of time with these people at work or at parties as I am unable to ask them inane questions about their work.

Thanks to my lengthy experience in the entertainment industry, I have no problems taking artistic direction from a BOSS. I suffer no ego-related difficulties when working on any given project. I am a professional who is fully able to follow directions and do what he is asked.

I have a "Mid-Atlantic" accent(USA&UK), so many people mistake me for an Irishman(don't ask me why). I grew up with a London accent, which went "yank" after I moved to the States and now that I've been back in the UK for more than a decade, it is a mixture of both. I am completely able to switch between an authentic English accent and an authentic American accent with no problems. I have lived in London for more than half of my life, but I have also lived for lengthy periods in California, Texas and Tennessee. With regards my American accent, I can speak in a generic American accent(East Coast/West Coast) as well as a Texan or Tennessean(Southern) accent. I do know the difference between a Texan accent and a Southern accent. (Texans consider themselves a Mid-West State, not a Southern State - a very different accent)

Employment History & Experience

In 1999, I presented an approximately 4 minute piece to camera on Channel 4's, "The Digital World". I was employed as an authority on digital audio formats and spoke about digital file compression in the early days of MP3s in the UK. A clip of my appearance on the show is available for viewing on YouTube. It was a bad hairdo year.

As a teenager in Los Angeles with an English accent, I recorded a pilot for a kid's travel show. The pilot was filmed over 2 days, but sadly the show was not picked up by any of the networks.

Entertainment

Employment History & Experience

I have had a variety of experience in music, TV and the film industry. I have worked as a music industry professional non-stop since the age of 18.

I have a great deal of experience in public-speaking and performing to large capacity audiences and have no problems with nervousness or stage fright.

I know many successful actors, musicians and models and I feel that I have a better idea of the actual workload and daily routine of these professions than the average person.

My father was a well known touring and session musician from the 60s-90s, my mother was a successful model and my older brother was a child actor who appeared in many international films and British TV programmes. I have been immersed in the entertainment industry my whole life and I am very familiar and comfortable with the workings of film sets, recording sessions and photo shoots.

Experience & Qualifications

General Experience

I have always been around the entertainment industry in one form or another. I have spent lots of time on closed film and TV sets. I was raised in recording studios, sitting quietly during sessions with Barbra Streisand, Rod Stewart, The Rolling Stones, Joe Cocker and many more. I am a competent photographer having studied photography for 4 years at Santa Monica High School, California. I have extensive touring, recording and performing experience, as I have worked solidly in the music industry since the age of 18.

Other Information

Relevant Skills

I have valid experience as a TV presenter as well as having worked as an extra amongst other TV/Film work. I am an accomplished touring, session and recording musician and have worked with some of the most successful musicians around. As an audio-engineer, I have also achieved extensive experience recording some extremely notable clients. I am a competent musician and vocalist specialising in vocals and keyboards, but I am also fluent on guitar, bass, harmonica and drums. I am a competent photographer, able to load film, operate most any SLR camera and develop the photos... the old fashioned way.

Interests & Hobbies

I am an avid cyclist and tennis player. I am interested in film, current events, horticulture, mid 20th century literature and silent movies. I enjoy spending time with my family and seeing as much of the UK as possible, which I find most people take for granted and don't bother.

Miscellaneous Information

I am confident that I can deliver any of the skills I have presented as my own, in a professional, punctual and deliberate manner. I believe that I would be an efficient and valuable assett to any project I am asked to work on. I am more than used to long hours and have plenty of experience of waiting long periods of time to "do my part".

Thanks for your consideration.
