About Me

While initially I trained to become an actor my life took me on a different journey for which my acting background gave me a vital founding. As such I am now able to bring a wider range of life experience to my performance and work than in youth. My life experience and work in public service has exposed me to a far wider range of training many actors could only dream to experience, and certainly better than any money could buy.
I'm now at that point in my life where the responsibilities are gone and it is finally time that I can do something for myself and follow the path I chose.

An Officer and a Gentleman: 2004-present.
In true Jekyll & Hyde fashion I have portrayed an alter-ego for the past 11 years as a Civil Servant, a complex character whose creation was necessary in order to do the things that the 'Officer' could do, but I never could.

I have performed as solo, group and chorus artist in numerous cabarets and review shows while working as a solo singer in the North West Club Circuit. I have wide experience as a Master of Ceremonies. I have directed and hosted a number of 'In-House' training videos for a range of employers to augment their training programmes. I have written several short scripts and co-wrote 'A Midsommers Passion', a spoof of William Shakespeare's 'A Mid Summer Nights Dream' featuring characters based on those portrayed in the Carry On series of films.

General Experience

As a youth I attended the Starlight Youth Theatre School in my home town. I began my life in the theatre with a solo-performance of 'When father papered the parlour' as a child in an adult cabaret. I attended Hilbre High School where I studied Drama, and then A level Drama and Theatre Studies. I then trained at the Cheshire School of Performing Arts. I gained extensive experience performing a diverse range of principal and supporting character roles in a range of theatrical genres.
I worked for several years as a jobbing actor in the North West of England performing on a variety of stages across the region in both paid and unpaid work, while working my way around the cabaret circuit performing as a solo artist.

While most of my experience is based in the theatrical background, my true love is for film and television.
