About Me
My Vitals: 6ft 1in, Medium Build, Brown Hair, No Distinctive Regional Accent (though able to adapt most for roles).
If you asked people who know me to describe me, I am pretty sure they would say similar things; confident, outgoing, friendly, easy to talk to, easy to get on with, team player, hard-working, motivated. These are all interesting characteristics, but together they make up what I'm all about. The first thing I would say about myself is that I am a very confident person; I have developed this over the years and I am not afraid to be in the spotlight and speak up. I don't hold back and I am comfortable with putting myself in new situations out of my comfort zone - I relish new challenges. I have always had a burning passion for Acting and Performing, and the bug certainly bit me hard; I love nothing more than entertaining people and being in front of the camera, and I can think of nothing I'd rather do than act. I know what my goals and targets are, and I have never been afraid to work hard to get to where I want to be. I can say with confidence that there are not many people out there as driven and focussed as me, and I am determined to be successful. I love to work in teams to achieve aims, and I am never happier than working with a crew and director to put on a great performance for people. My biggest fear in life is looking back when it is nearly over, knowing that I didn't do all I could to make my dreams come true, and that shapes how I approach life.

Experience & Qualifications
General Experience
I have lots of experience in acting and performing, having been involved in this field for the majority of my life. I have been taking the lead role in plays, pantomimes and performances from around the age of 12, and this has given me the confidence and experience to take on a number of different roles. I have been fortunate enough to work with some excellent amateur directors and I have acted with a wide variety of people from lots of different backgrounds. I have played roles within numerous genres, such as comedies, thrillers and dramas, and I have experience of acting through different time periods (from the 1700's through to modern day). I am experienced in using different accents and dialects, and I have used American, Irish and regional British accents in my performances. I also have experience in front of the camera, having acted in short films and other minor projects, so I am used to the demands of shooting for the camera. I have lots of experience in the performance art of Public Speaking, where I obtained two national titles for my work.
Qualifications & Training
Though I am not formally qualified beyond my Distinction in BTEC Performance Studies, I have received a wealth of training over the years from professionals and experienced amateur directors. I have been trained in a number of different styles and genres, which has given me lots of different skills. My voice has been particularly trained in terms of intonation, emotion, pace and dialect, which means I feel confident to speak about anything to anyone. I obtained two national awards in Public Speaking (which relied heavily on Performance and Acting of sorts), so I suppose one could consider that a qualification! I feel that I have drawn far more hands on experience from the physical and vocal training that I have received than I ever could have from a book, and I feel confident when I apply this to a role.
Other Information
Relevant Skills
Through my experience and training I have developed a number of useful skills, and to be honest some probably useless skills too. One of my skills would be my voice; aside from being skilled in using different emotions and using different intonation, I am able to adopt most accents and regional dialects - I am most practiced in American accents, but I can also do many others. I am also skilled with memory, and in the past I have memorised multiple pages of script in a short period of time to perform as a monologue or extended speech, so I count this among my skills. I am also fine with learning a choreographed dance routine, so dancing isn't a problem for me. I have also in the past performed my own stunts, so I am comfortable with this. I can Juggle too.
Interests & Hobbies
My main interest and passion is Acting and Performance, and I am involved with this almost all the time. When I am not performing myself, I like to go to the theatre and the cinema to watch plays and films, and I do this as often as possible. I also like to keep fit, and to do this I run and visit the gym as much as I can. I enjoy watching and playing sport too, my favourite sport being football. Travelling is another love of mine, and I have visited some amazing countries and had some fantastic experiences. I also have a passion for writing, and I have penned scripts and short stories in my free time. In the past I have also took part in Public Speaking, having been quite successful and gone on to teach others what I learned. I enjoy music too, and anything performance related really.
Miscellaneous Information
As I enjoy travelling and new cities and towns, I am happy to travel the country for work and film in new places, and new countries if the opportunity arose. I always remember what is important in life, and I am prepared to make sacrifices to achieve my ambitions.
