Employment History & Experience

I've been singing for a long time, solo and in choirs, but I've been working as a backing vocalist/session singer for the past 3 years and I am now looking for representation. I started off singing in my church choir then began to take it seriously while singing with the Young Voices under the direction of Richard Frostick later followed by singing in the St Mary’s Youth Choir under direction of Rev. Bazil Meade.

I've worked mostly in gospel, working for artists such as Guvna B (Gospel UMA Winner 2009 and Gospel MOBO Award Winner 2010), Michaela the Poet, and Rachel Kerr (Gospel MOBO Award Nominee 2010).
While doing this work, I've had the privilege sharing the stage with the likes of Musiq Soulchild, Donell Jones, Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, Marvin Sapp, Donnie McClurkin, Bebe and Cece Winans, 21:03, Israel Houghton and New Breed, Toby Mac, Avant, Day 26, Deitrick Haddon, and others.
Venues include the Jazz Cafe, Ronnie Scotts, Wembley Arena, IndigO2, Hackney Empire, Hackney Ocean, Stratford Circus, Sadlers Wells, Brixton O2 Academy, Islington O2 Academy, Notting Hill Arts Club (YoYo’s), The Mermaid Theatre, Bloomsbury Theatre, The Drum, BBC Egton Wing and even had the opportunity to do a BBC 1Xtra Live Session at BBC Maida Vale Studios.
I worked with Carrie Grant when I was doing Fame Academy. I also did BBC’s Usher Masterclass and got into the final 10, which gave me the opportunity to work with Patrick Jean-Paul Denis.
