About Me

I have been performing as a singer for 20 years. I also play guitar and have had a little success as a songwriter. I lectured in performing arts in FE and worked as a vocal coach for Stagecoach Children's Theatre -I now work independently as a vocal coach.

Employment History & Experience

Started singing professionally at 16 - won a singing comp the 'prize'of which was a job with a 16 piece resident band in a Mecca company night club. Had several residencies in various clubs. Also worked with different bands, duos, solo work also. Work in a duo at the current time with my guitarist. Went to university as a mature student - graduated with Hons degree English and took Drama as a minor subject. Went on to teach English and Performing Arts in FE. Worked for Stagecoach Children's Theatre as a vocal coach -currently work independently. Also write songs with my musician/composer partner - reached semi finals with one of our songs in UK Songwriting Comp and also runner up position in a songwriting competition run by BBC Radio Merseyside. Inthink that's it though I'll probably think of something else when I've finished
