About Me
Hi there! My name is Antony and I am an aspiring actor currently studying Acting at degree level at Liverpool Media Academy. For me, experience is everything so I am extremely keen to do some work during my time as a student. I believe I have the talent, flexibility and confidence to tackle challenges and jobs. Having autism as well actually encourages me to constantly push the boundaries. I don't see it as a disability. It makes me unique. Yes, I'd does sometimes come through and I can get overwhelmed easily sometimes. However, I'm constantly improving and I believe that doing more and more acting jobs will really help me to keep improving in every aspect.

Employment History & Experience
During my time as a student at school, college and now University, I have done a number of unpaid acting jobs. These include student films, my most recent one being a short film called 'The Chase' which was filmed in a forest and included myself discovering a killer burying a body and myself then running away from the killer. I have also done one in the style of Charlie Chaplin; this one had much more of an emphasis on comedy. So I feel that I am a very versatile actor. As well as additional experience, I have received constant high grades in my acting courses, showing my commitment in having a successful career in acting.

General Experience
So far, I have had one paid job, working at McDonald's Aigburth for around a year before deciding to leave as it was quite an overwhelming time for me. However, this job gave great experience in communication skills, customer service, boosting my confidence and giving me an appreciation for the work that people do for one another.
Other experience I have include helping out at my local town council, meeting and talking to people, handing out leaflets etc. I also spent a few months helping out at my local Halewood RSPCA. In terms of any student films I've been in, I did a couple during my time at college. One was in a comedic style, similar to Charlie Chaplin. And I've already acted in a couple during my first few months at LMA.

Miscellaneous Information
It's worth mentioning my autism. I have high-functioning autism and Dispraxia as well. These have had an impact on my life and will continue to do so. For example, I can get overwhelmed very easily and it does take me longer than others to adjust to new environments and gain confidence. However, there is no doubt that I have improved drastically over the last few years and I hope with an increase of activities over the next three years, I will continue to improve.
