About Me

I'm a confident individual who has worked in childcare for 6 years. Looking for something to help develop my own skills and personality a bit further.
I have no experience in acting or preforming however I enjoy watching series drama's which relate to my interests. One interest being Prison's.
I am intrigued about how the justice system is different across the world. It fascinates me how actresses such as Kate Jenkinson and Danielle Cormack (Allie Novak and Bea Smith from the Australian series Wentworth Prison) can portray such realistic characters. It is an amazing talent which I only hope to be able to compete with one day. While watching these types of series drama's I enjoy analyzing the performer's abilities to know their characters and how they would react in situations they find themselves in.
I have experienced both good and bad things already in my life which I think would positively contribute to story lines and characters.
As an hearing impaired individual (nearly completely deaf in my right ear) I sometimes rely on body langue and facial expressions to communicate in certain surroundings. This has also been a habit of observation when watching actresses and actors and think it is an incredibly important aspect throughout ones performance.
In conclusion, it would be an amazing experience to work alongside people who could role model skills and aspects of acting that I'm not fulling aware of yet. I love to learn and am great at taking constructive criticism as I find improving knowledge is one of the best parts of working in a team.

General Experience

As stated in the About Me section I haven't had an experience in preforming before however sometimes having a fresh/new individual in a team can have its up sides.
For example, someone with the experience of the technicalities of a situation may over see something that that an inexperienced person could see a solution to as they are used to looking from a viewers point of view. In addition it helps to have a team from a diverse group of backgrounds who have had to deal with experiences.

In addition I have 12 GCSE's A-C's including Maths and English and a Full CASHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education.
Recently applied to Kingston University to start my Foundation Degree in Childcare and Education.

Qualifications & Training

Having qualifications or training in acting or preforming however this will be a plus for me. I can bring experiences that I've been through and relate to characters and story lines appropriately and therefore my performances will come purely from the heart.

Relevant Skills

From a very young age people have commented on my facial expressions. I find this a skill to enhance the meaning and tone of what is being communicated. One look can change everything being said.
Projection of voice - I'm a naturally loud speaker.
My memory of words is a brilliant learnt by reading 100's stories to children and working with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Interests & Hobbies

I love to socialize with new people from different walks of life. Long drives and spending time with friends.
Getting lost on a romantic novel really is a great way to end a day too! I get caught up in the words and characters and wish sometimes they would come alive on screen one day.
