About Me

I accepted the early advice I received as a youth that told me that it was folly to embark on a professional Acting Career unless I had absolutely no other way of earning a living.

Although I accepted unfulfilling jobs in my working life I was not deterred from my involvement in the `performing arts' in the form of amateur stage productions, radio work and business presenting. In the latter capacity I Organised, Presented and Chaired, Conferences, Workshops and Seminars.
The last job I had before retiring was as a Presenting Officer representing the Secretary of State at Tribunals. giving me practical experience of Courtroom procedures and activities.

Other Information

Relevant Skills

Stage and Film Acting; Presenting on Stage, Television and on Radio; Ski-ing and Teaching; Cycling (I can ride a bicycle); Driving - I have a full, clean Driving License; I entertain guests in Spain conducting Tours of the local countryside and the Wine-producing Bodegas.

I compile and present Quiz Nights for a local charity on a regular basis.

Interests & Hobbies

I enjoy Digital Photography and Photo Editing.

My garden in Spain is important to me and find the design and cultivation particularly relaxing.

Although not a keen Sportsman I do regularly play Petanque in Spain whenever I am there.

Miscellaneous Information

Since retiring I have had the freedom to indulge myself in Professional Performing Arts and - because I do not have to earn a living any more - I have allowed myself to do things free-of-charge. This has allowed me to gain experience of the Film and Television Industry and to absorb the ethos and discipline of this world. I feel that it is now time to exploit the experience I have gained over the years to take on more challenging work and to reap appropriate financial rewards.

I have always used the motto `Just because we are amateurs it doesn't mean we can be amateurish'. People pay good money to attend the theatre - no matter how much or little that might be - and they are entitled to their moneysworth.
