Description of Role: Funfair Team Member
This is my most recent job role; my job title was Funfair Team Member. My duties included operating the children rides and also the more adult rides. I worked in a very small but close team within a very well known company. I learned many new skills such as how to communicate with children, customer service and how to work under pressure and also how to work within a time limit. I was given the opportunity to learn new experiences such as team leadership skills; for example if we were short of staff when opening up the funfair in the morning I would help the team leaders with any jobs they needed doing to make sure we were open on time. The reason for leaving this job was because it was only a contract job. However I was given an extended contract but decided against it as I had worked there one season and for me I wanted to move on and experience new things.
