About Me
Tasha has been a keen acting enthusiast since a young age, always writing and performing short plays with her friends. It became clear that she was able to understand and become a different person whilst taking to roles when she starred as ‘Carole Chandler’ in ‘Our Day Out’ at the age of 11.
She then went on to study LAMDA examinations achieving a distinction in all levels with an honours in her Junior Medallion. Since then she has performed in many roles on stage ranging from light humour such as ‘Helga’ in ‘Allo Allo’ through to ‘Mrs. Sydall’ in ‘The Roses of Eyam’. She also experienced her first role as an extra at the age of 15 in BBC’s ‘True Tilda’.
Since she has matured, she has been able to emotionally attach herself to characters to feel their pain and captivating her audiences. She first got to show this when she performed in 'The Vagina Monologues' where she got to talk of the experiences of a young girl who was raped by soldiers. The silence from the audience showed how they listened to every word & it was commented by several how powerful her emotions were by the way she spoke. This led to her being approached by a member of the local dramatic society to audition for their panto, a new experience for Tasha, where she was cast as the 'Wicked Queen' / 'Old Hag' in 'Snow White & The Six and a Half Dwarves,
Tasha, shortly after this, was then cast in her dream role ‘Catherine Howard’ in Credition Operatic and Dramatic Society's production of the musical, ‘Witchfinder’. A very emotional drama based on the Pendle witch trials where there was not a dry eye in the audience come the curtain call. It was commented by her cast members that every time Tasha, as Catherine, walked up to the magistrate before walking to her death, it would bring a lump to their throat just to see the pain and fear she was experiencing.
With nearly thirty years of stage experience under her belt, playing numerous varied roles both in the chorus and as a lead, Natasha is keen to expand her career into working as an extra in professional productions.
