About Me

My name is Tamara Hutchinson, I study Journalism at University of Westminster, London soon to be a graduate in July 2016. My aim after I graduate is to find a job that really shows my personality and creativity, studying all aspects of journalism from TV presenting to writing articles online to Radio presenting, I find myself extremely well rounded in my sector of media.

I found the love of Radio presenting when first starting college, North Herts College, Hitchin in 2012. As I was on there as a co- presenter for a whole week dedicating different music genres from around the world based on the topic, Unity.

I have a passion for learning and experiencing new cultures, new people and most of all, I love to travel. I’ve been to places such as the beautiful island of Barbados, Menorca and Majorca, New York, Baltimore, Boston, Northern Ireland, Wales and France. This year I will be off to Scotland and the Portuguese island of Madeira.

I have obtained what is deemed as professional practice or work conduct from various companies and media platforms over a number of years. I have contributed in many job roles, work placements and experiences such as Communication in customer services, fashion, broadcasting, business organisation and ethics (PR) and product listing. This has enabled me to become the go-getter who I am today.
