About Me

Talisa L’Marie du-Pont (born 15 September 1987) was born in Swaziland Southern Africa; she is a Portuguese national with French, Swazi and South African influences. She first discovered her musical ability at the age of eleven by writing lyrics and composing vocal melodies. Since moving to the U.K in 2008, Talisa has enrolled in Music Production and Business courses to help her improve her talents and focus on her career. She then joined Urban Development Vocal Collective, a group of singers and song writers who come together to perform and encourage each other to live their dream in the music industry, She has performed alongside a host of British underground household names including Shola Ama, Ny, Ghetts, Gigs, Marverick Sabre, Griminal and Devlin to name a few.
She has also performed solo at U.K Unsigned in Hackney, Stratford shopping mall, Empire Records Launch Party (College Project) and London Stand Up held at Stratford Circus. In 2010, she discovered her producing talent and is working on her first mix tape to be released in summer 2013. Apart from music, Talisa has also been involved in Fashion Designing and Film Writing. She has a passion for fashion and hopes to open a boutique one day for women and men. She also discovered she has a writing ability when she joined Jazz Reloaded on work experience given to her by her college as a Journalist; she has written three articles and blogged over six articles and interviewed one artist on www.jazzreloaded.com ever since then she has been writing film scripts and is keen on making movies.
