About Me

I am a young acoustic singer/songwriter. I have some experience playing live and the number of shows I have played is going to increase. I am always writing original music and I have also earned my self a slot in a festival that is based in Chesterfield over the summer. I love writing, playing and performing my own music and I am highly motivated to keep this talent going and to take it further.

I have been singing for two, nearly three, years and I continue to grow a stronger voice. I can sing in many different keys, however my preferred key is quite raw. I have done a few gigs in the past and at every one of them I have sang, I have more gigs coming up which I will also be singing at too. The biggest crowd I have sang to is about 30-40 people.

While at school I joined a dance group called Oxygen Youth. Here we made choreography to popular chart music as a group and sometimes we could make up choreography individually to any music of our choice. We rehearsed a lot and I took part in a dance show where I did a solo dance and a group dance. This was mostly either free styling or street dance.

Experience & Qualifications

General Experience

I have experience working in the Charity shop Oxfam which has helped me improve my confidence while working with the public and working as part of a team. It has also helped me improve my communication skills and I can now communicate with the public in a respectful and appropriate manner. For my work experience during school I worked at the primary school, St Catherine's, in Sheffield. Here I had to be organized and punctual. I also understand the importance of confidentiality because of this role. In the summer of 2013, I took part in the National Citizen Service where I did volunteering for the community. Here, I helped a number of people while working as part of a team.

Qualifications & Training

I have achieved: 3 GCSEs A-C grade, including my English and Maths, a Merit in BTEC Level 3 Health and Social Care. I am awaiting results from my BTEC Level 3 Public Services course.
