About Me

I am a very determined young woman with the hunger to excel as a young budding actor. By taking action and applying conviction to my craft, I have found my direction with passion and hunger, ready to sacrifice and go that extra mile because I know I am capable of reaching for the stars and joining them. This is not a journey just of my career as an actor but as an individual. A journey of self development, that I know will push me beyond my limits, test me daily but my resolve is strong and my mindset bulletproof. I am confident, easy going, friendly, adaptable, funny, work well in team, creative, diligent, persistent and articulate. I can be very charismatic and have a lot of energy, which I am excited to be taking action and putting it into myself/career. I am quite forward, get straight to the point, I am humble and always keen to learn/observe. I have a good critical eye and take direction well but above all Im passionate and show conviction in my work.

Employment History & Experience

In 2013 I did a voice over for a feature film called "internal" being entered into the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year. My first taste of acting in a feature film.

In 2014 I attended a screen acting course at Pinewood studios, run by Tim Kent. An absolute amazing experience, which has taught me a lot about myself and helped me deepen my understanding of screen acting.

Later on in the year I was able to apply what I had learned and was given another opportunity to be featured in a documentary style series written and directed by Peter Greenhall. The feature piece is called "Inner Workings" which is a dark comedy.

2015 has just begun so I'm keen to see what ventures are in store for me! So watch this post!

Employment History & Experience

I was part of a fast growing company/academy called X7eaven for two years. They specialised in dance, acting and singing. I never had one area of dance to specialise in as I'm very versatile, I was a trained contemporary dancer and found a love for street dance. We had regular shows and performed in schools while also learning new material for their annual show. We were always trying new styles of dance like the charleston, salsa, African etc.

I was also apart of a fresh and new theatre company call Flame for 1 year. I taught street dance to kids aged +7 as well as the adults. I created level friendly routines and focused more on technique and stamina.

Experience & Qualifications

General Experience

Part of my course when I did A Level Film studies was that we create our own short film, we went through in depth the roles of each person credited in making a film; director, producer, editor etc. One of the roles that struck my fancy was the director as he/she has to have a good eye for detail and pace. I became the director and gave good clear direction of how I want the camera angles and what the actor should be doing, how they look, continuity etc it was a really great experience.

I have also done volunteer work in being stage management for a couple of dance showcases. It is a really good way of seeing what goes on behind the curtains and putting myself in organising the performers rather then being the performer, it gives you an insight into how much work goes into making the production run smoothly, how to deal with a crisis or mishap.
