About Me

Shannon is a raw and honest young performer with a knack of taking on challenging roles with believability, portraying them subtly and effectively. Following a spell as a child model, Shannon began embarking on an acting career at the tender age of 14; taking classes at Identity Drama School alongside her school studies. In 2013 she became a member of the National Youth Theatre. Shannon's most recent stage performance was in Andrew Smith's, 'As We Forgive Those' at Oxford University. Playing the supporting lead of troubled sister Alex, her performance was hailed as 'particularly impressive'. Currently, she is filming as a series regular in a new 6 part BBC political thriller titled Undercover.

Relevant Skills

Shannon has a very good ear for accents and is able to deliver a particularly convincing Northern (Manchester) accent. In 2013, she also completed a two week course introducing the Standard American accent with Hugh O'shea.

In addition, Shannon is incredibly sporty. For 11 years she trained as an Athlete, competing in the 100m sprint. Alongside this, she has played competitive Football for most of her life and is currently playing for her college team at Oxford University.
