My name is Shania Evans, I am 16 years old and I live in Arbroath, Angus in Scotland. I am a dancer and dance regularly competing in competitions across Scotland and showcasing my talents in different theatres across Angus. I would love to take this talent further and start a career involving dance and acting.

I do not have much experience in acting although I am highly interested in becoming an Actress. I have been involved in the dance/drama activity, Rock Challenge for the past six years and I am currently coaching this years Rock Challenge for Arbroath Academy just as I did last year. Rock Challenge is based on creating a performance with a particular theme involving different styles of dance and high acting skills to put across a story to four judges who then mark you down based on a particular criteria.

I do not have many modelling experience however I am highly interested in doing so. I have modelled items of clothing and accessories for students Art folios.

I have been dancing for 13 years. I started dancing when I was three years old focussing on ballet and gymnastics although I soon grew out of this style when I was six and became interested in street dance and hip hop. I currently attend Showcase the Street daily and I auditioned for Showcase the Street's under 18 dance crew in 2012 and was successful in doing so and became a member. With this crew we have participated in many dance competitions across Scotland placing in the top 5 every time. We recently qualified for the UDO World Street Dance Championships which will take place on the 28th to the 30th August 2015 in Glasgow where we will compete against many crews from across the globe. I also showcase my talents in annual dance shows across Angus and I often perform at events and galas. I have completed my UDO pre-primary and primary dance syllabus examinations with a Pass. Also, I am strong in the following styles of dance: Hip Hop, House, Popping, Street and Waacking.
