About Me

I am interested in all aspects of film from floor running to playing an extra. I believe that it is these minor yet integral roles are a great segway into the business and I hope that I will be considered for some of the roles placed on this website.

Experience & Qualifications

General Experience

Throughout my GCSE's and A-Levels I have studied Media Studies, in which I have created several short moving images. I believe that although my real world experiences are limited, these more academically significant achievements have given me a basic yet integral understanding of the way films and TV shows operate. I dearly hope that I am considered to join others in these roles in order to further both my experience and my knowledge about the job area.

Relevant Skills

I have, on multiple occasions, filmed, directed, edited, written and even stars (briefly) in my own academic filming projects. I believe that my brief experiences in these roles show how ranged my understanding of the industry has the potential to be, with my skills making me a veritable candidate for more than one, single type of role.

In participating in these projects I have too developed both my understanding of teamwork and my ability to lead a team. As an acting director, cameraman and writer I have confidently retained the skill to 'take charge' of a designated team; perhaps one that consists of a range of colleagues that I lack familiarity with.

Additionally, my brief experience of 'acting' in an academic setting has awarded me with the important opportunity to both follow instructions and, again, work amongst and even complement those that would be considered as having an equally integral function as I.

Interests & Hobbies

I have a passion for film and the industry, one that is exemplified by my interest in studying 'Film' at university.

Additionally, as part of my interest in the subject and the career field I often visit the cinema and have even gone to several film conventions, such as London Frightfest, because I am extremely dedicated to film.
