About Me

I have always had a very special bond with theatre, since i was a small child i have always sung the classics. The passion and strive i have to succeed when singing is an ambition i refuse to give up. Musical theatre has taught me to keep trying even when the road is rocky. I am a bubbly, enthusiastic and determined performer, I love the feeling of moving an audience and always giving a great show. I enjoy working within a trustworthy, fun and reliable team who all share the same motives and goals, such as i had with my peers during my time studying musical theatre at university. Since i finished my studies i have worked within the hospitality sector, recently returning from traveling around Australia and New Zealand for the past two and a half months - which was a trip of a lifetime!!

I performed in multiple shows with Theatretrain aged 9-16 during my time here i performed in venues such as; The O2, The Royal Albert Hall and Her Majesty's Theatre. After developing my skills with this company i went on to teach at Theatretrain for three years and took the students to perform in Disneyland Paris. After gaining my experience of teaching i went on to study musical theatre at university in Colchester. I performed in many venues during this time, including the Brighton Fridge Festival. My final showcase at university was The Addams Family Musical.

Singing has always been a massive passion of mine, I have been singing since i was young and performing with Theatretrain, gaining confidence through singing solos in Her Majesty's Theatre. Throughout my time studying musical theatre at university i performed in a range of venues singing, including St James Studio for my final singing piece in my second year. I have sang within studios with live bands and gained the knowledge of the technical side of this profession. I have performed in pubs and bars since leaving university and am now looking at furthering my career. Along side musical theatre songs i am also very interested in artists such as; Whitney Houston, Rihanna, Aerosmith, Paolo Nutini, Carrie Underwood, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Panic At The Disco, Christina Aguliera, Disney, Haley Reinhart, James Bay and everything Disney.

My dance experience started at Theatretrain and has continued to improve and grow through university and teaching. During my time at university i learnt a range of styles such as; Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Hip-Hop and Fossee. My strengths mainly lie with Ballet, Jazz and Hip-Hop.

I worked as a teacher at Theatretrain for 3 years teaching singing and dance, and during that time i was able to take the students to perform in Disneyland Paris parades; i also had the chance to perform along side them during this time.

I taught singing and dance for 3 years at Theatretrain with the chance to take the students to Disneyland Paris which was an amazing experience.
Other than teaching i have recently completed a BA in Musical Theatre and taken a year out to go traveling around Australia and New Zealand.
