About Me

My name is Sarah, I am 29 years old and live with my husband and three children in Wiltshire. I am lively, very positive and love a challenge. I am constantly told by family and friends that I should be taking my skills further and doing what I love every day, so that is why I am on here. I have earned good money doing session work, but they approached me, I have never actually gone out to promote myself or find work, I was just lucky enough that someone heard some of my work and offered me some more. I think it is time to actually do what I love for a living.

I have taken part in amature and student acting and script writing, but would love to expand this further as I have focused on my other skills for a long time. I have a natural ability to act and love the challenge that comes with this area. I am able to show deep emotion and also have great comedy timing. People have told me to do more acting, so I feel it is about time to go for it.

I have been singing semi professionally since the age of 15. I started in clubs and bars and following a demo I recorded, was asked back to the studio to co-write and record. This led to me getting paid session work for other writers and doing voice over work for childrens books companies. I have also been involved in a few bands and have a great range of styles which include soul, rock, pop, jazz, ballards and R&B. I feel I can take on most challenges and can adapt my style accordingly, which is why I am interested in session work. I have no real desire to go back to club/bar singing as I have done it before. I would love to get more session work, co-writing work or backing vocal work. I have a natural ear for music, so harmonising comes very naturally. I am confident of my abilities as I have been doing this for many years now.

I have experience of entertainment for clubs and bars. I did this for about 5 years on and off and it did pay well, but I am looking to expand to a more professional capacity, I have many skills and am willing to take on a new challenge.

General Experience

My experience is very varied, but I will turn my hand to anything, especially when it comes to music and singing. I can write and record music, I have sung solo and in various bands and groups, I have done session work for various styles including voice overs for childrens reading books. I am very confortable in a studio setting and am known to prepare well so that I can get things done in one take.
In acting, I have general amature experience, but would love to expand this and get the opportunity to show people what I can do. It has been easy for me to stay with my singing, as that is where I started, but I know I have a range of abilities and want to use them all.
