About Me

At the tender age of 39 years I have decided its time to stop teaching and start doing! Originally, from North London I moved to lancashire when I was 15 so both accents are now native of tongue.
Strong improvisation skills with acute comedy timing, reliable on and off stage and work well under pressure. Have understanding for what is required from the director and apply myself accordingly. Strong continuity is used and a good sense of humour when required.
Physically, have gained weight as the years have gone by, but believe i still have a good face for camera. (Think Lisa Tarbuck meets Martine Mcutcheon) Likeable personality, warm, funny, believeable, focussed, with a wit to help us get through the day. Should mention I do have some blonde moments. (more than i probably realise!)

Various roles over 29 years experience. Mainly Lead characters, in plays such as Romeo & Juliet, The Crucible, Billy Liar, Thatchers Women, Macbeth, to name a few... Also, directed a number of shows which were devised by myself for public venues.
Strengths in Shakespeare and Character roles, Lamda trained with Honours.
Recently, worked as supporting artist for Casualty, Doctors, and Trollied. Ideally looking for representation to raise my profile.
