About Me
Presenting is, and has always been, my ultimate ambition. I come alive in front of the camera. I am a positive, friendly and enthusiastic person with a great passion for all forms of performing arts. Being a British Pakistani who went to boarding school, lived in five different countries, and undertaken a range of exciting jobs from working on Cruise Ships to Teaching and of course Presenting makes me very versatile. I do a huge range of shoot styles, from corporate to relaxed, and improvisational to scripted. Working for Swindon Web TV and Video Works taught me a great deal, and now I\'m ready to take my talent to the next level. I\'m great with people of all ages, walks of life and personalities; I work well as part of a team, in a leadership position and under direction. I love to make a shoot my own, adding my own style and charisma, whilst ensuring I fulfill the client brief and meet the director\'s vision. I love a challenge and am willing to give anything a go.

Employment History & Experience
Description: I presented for a variety of shoots, including: short promos, interviews, leisure guides, and the covering different types of events. My main project was: ‘101 Things to do in Swindon’, which featured on the SWTV website as a guide for both locals and visitors. For this, I hosted short videos on all the fun events, activities and attractions that my home town Swindon had to offer from mini golfing to archery and go carting. I became known as the ‘face of Swindon’. Not only did I thoroughly enjoy every day, I gained a great deal of experience in camera work and presenting technique. Before each shoot I researched the company and memorised both fixed scripts and bullet points for improvisational style shoots.

Employment History & Experience
I ran the 15-17 teen clubs on two cruise ships, Carnival Magic and Carnival Glory. Club O2 was a place for teens to have fun, chill out and make friends. I organised all the activities, putting together an exciting schedule of activities each cruise, ensuring there was something for everyone. I engaged and enthused the teens in each activity from video gaming and sports to dance parties, karaoke, fitness classes and waterslide competitions. On the paperwork side, my weekly administration duties included completing: voyage reports; YD Reports; lounge bookings; food orders; answering and replying to emails; registration forms; and ordering from Central. An essential part of the job, which came natural to me, was being happy and friendly to all guests and crew on board. I also had safety duties to carry out in case of emergency. The extensive safety and job related training I received prepared me well for all the above. The best part of this lifestyle was: meeting new people; visiting amazing ports around the Caribbean; stepping outside my comfort zone by taking on this new adventure; experiencing ship life; living with crew members; rising to new challenges; being a part of an incredible team; and making sure guests have a magical, unforgettable vacation.
