About Me

Well, what can l say...? I'm funny and highly charismatic, which l believe is down to my high degree of confidence. I’ve been called witty, as l am always the first to make a wisecrack (and it generally pays off). I am very good with people, as l am not fazed by embarrassment and l enjoy 'breaking the ice', as not many people seem to do it. I believe that a sense of humour is essential in everyday life, or one would literally go insane, as life has a habit of having 'ups' and 'downs'. I dislike over-arrogance as it tends to put others down, which does annoy me. I feel that laughter is a tool which can give people the 'boost' that they need, as well as creating the opportunity for people to relax and enjoy any given situation. I seem to be lucky in the way that l know what makes people laugh, and when a joke has gone horribly wrong. With this ‘skill’, l know what makes people ‘tick’, so l can connect with them, and perhaps relate, which helps with a variety of situations, such as presenting and reporting. I am also controlled and sensible, meaning that any particular senario that l am in will not get 'carried away' (unless specified).

General Experience

When l was 9 years old, l won a radio competition named 'Voices'(2003). From then on, l regularly broadcasted on radio Cambridgeshire for about a year. From this, l gained experience in presenting to a very large audience, l developed my capacity for working under pressure, and built up my confidence. I have done various reports and interviews over the years, and have been involved with many youth projects which require both teamwork, confidence, and flare in order deal with the task at hand. I have done many theatre productions, ranging from 'West Side Story' to 'Les Miserables', and l have attained leading roles in most of them. As well as serious productions, l have done several comic performances, which demonstrates my skill at grasping and maintaining an audiences attention, while making them laugh (which they did).

Qualifications & Training

I have a GCSE in drama (B grade), but l also have substantial experience in amature production. Also have partaken in radio/reporting work for the BBC.
