About Me
My main occupation to which is my best ability is an actor, however I also sing and dance. I have worked on both professional and amateur films as well as performed on stage and street performances. My best strength when performing is natural-modern as well as contemporary.
As a bartender and waiter I am skilled in managing and working in both bar and restaurant areas. Serving and carrying food and drinks as well as customer service I am skilled in. I am also trained in cellar work and can organise and maintain stock and barrels.
I am a senior technician for ThemeWorld productions based in Portsmouth’s Guildhall. My main role within the team is filming and photography for theater and film productions. I also work as an editor and manage stock.
Some of my experinces include;
Theatre
With Fareham Musical society i played a Dancing waiter in Hello Dolly. With Titchfeild Festival Theatre group i have played roles in shows like Major Barbara as Charles Lomax and Italian Straw Hat as Boban, Speed in two gentlemen of verona and Rudge in the History Boys. Amongst these i take part in college productions and compilation shows standing in as a backup singer/dancer and actor.
Films
Through Universal Extras I was hired to play the part of a French soldier in the production on Les Miserables. During this role I was trained in French marching, also I was trained how to handle and fire 18th century muskets. I was also hired through Universal Extras again to take on the role of an Irish passer-by in the feature film The Muppets 2.
A short film I had a starring role in for the Hampshire County Council was to raise awareness against arson and vandalism. This role involed working with the local police/ambulance and fire services. From working on the short film with Hampshire council I was hired Through Portsmouth University to have the Starring role in Students final major product which aired in the Kings theatre Portsmouth.
Street/open air theatre/other
Through HMS Collingwood I had the Starring role of the “King” in their open air theatre Halloween trail. During this role I was trained further into stage combat with broadswords, straight swords, daggers and axes. Our performing nights would always be 12 shows back to back which required me to be energetic and in shape to withstand in total of 4 hours of choreographed fights scenes back to back.
I was hired as a Busking Mime in Guildhall Square of Portsmouth through the University of Portsmouth itself, this extended over two mounts and required constant improvisation! From this i was hired to do several photo-shoots for university projects as the mime giving me the title of “Guildhalls mime”.
Through my dedication and professionalism with the University of Portsmouth as the Mime the phycology department hired me to take on different roles in varies studies. These roles involved taking on different characters to help gather information from each participant regarding things like lie detection, deceit and truth telling.
With Titchfeild Festival Theatre we performed the mechanicals scene from Shakespeare’s a midsummer night’s dream outside the Westbury Manor Museum in Fareham to promote the company and the museum itself. This role included random audience participation and improvisation due to weather and market conditions.
Most recently i was hired through a local professional actor Nick Downes, to take part in a barrister training course in the Fareham magistrates court. My role was to play a defendant in a simply scenario, of which unprofessional barristers and lawyers would put together there analysis and come to a plea.
