I am a 61 year old woman and I currently work part time as an art and design lecturer and also as an art psychotherapist. I live in Bedfordshire and I have flexibility of hours to offer as my intention is to cut down the teaching that I do.

About 10 years ago, after leaving a paid long term job, I had a small number of walk on parts. One was for an ad in which I had to be a customer in a travel agency, another in which I went to Milton Keynes vehicle proving ground for a CBBC ad, another in which I was part of a huge crowd in a Nike ad that was for Australia and I was also part of the background in a contemporary TV production of Canterbury Tales. More recently I had a background part in This is England '88 and travelled to Sheffield for this.

I found these jobs interesting in terms of seeing all the work that goes on behind the scenes. I was able to do a bit of reading and drawing during waits. I was always reliable and in time and turned up with things I was asked to bring, if any.

Relevant Skills

I am independent, I drive, I understand instructions and do what I am told, I look like a normal person that one might see in any circumstances, I have lots of energy.

Interests & Hobbies

I enjoy painting, drawing and generally being creative. I like art exhibitions and I don't mind driving even over long distances. I own a 2002 Polo and a very nice 1971 VW campervan which I am willing to bring to any filming work. I like to read; not really fiction but factual books.

Miscellaneous Information

My plan is to take on a more flexible work pattern in my life and I would love to take up film extra work as part of this.
