I am a 19 year old student at Glasgow University studying Film and Television/Theatre studies as part of a joint honors programme. I am originally from Dunfermline in Fife where my family still lives.

I have been acting since I was 14 years old in school productions most notably playing John Proctor in The Crucible during my final year.

Since leaving school I have been a very active member of student Theatre at Glasgow (STaG) and have performed in 8 plays over the past 2 years. This year for example I performed in one of the main stage productions, La Ronde, for three nights in December and also in a play called "When the Stars Felt Close Enough to Touch" which was a 25 minute monologue.

I performed at the Edinburgh Fringe 2010 for two weeks with STaG after being part of the play that won our New Writing festival. I will also be acting this coming year at the Fringe as a result of repeating the feat with another play called "A Stone's Throw" which will be advertised as children's theatre and something quite different to what I have done before.

I play lead guitar and do backing vocals in an acoustic duo called "Streetlight" and have just released our first EP "The Pace of the World"

I have begun doing soundtrack composition for film/theatre but this is still in the early stages.
