I am a very enthusiastic individual with lots of passion for what I do. I am currently about to embark on my second year of Drama School auditions and want to gain as much experience as I possibly can. I am totally committed to becoming an actress and want to do as many things as I possibly can to enhance my CV as well as help me to really immerse myself in the professional world. I always keep up to date with what is going on in the business, read scripts on a regular basis and see as much theatre/TV/Film as I can so that I am constantly keeping connected and getting inspiration. I pride myself on my eagerness to learn and that I work very hard to make sure I am doing the best that I can be. I also like to go to the gym on a regular basis, so have very high stamina levels and good core strength. I am also a Vegetarian and enjoy cooking healthy meals.

General Experience

I've been a member of Stage2 Youth Theatre for six years and have acted in a wide variety of productions, all receiving four or five star reviews. As part of this, I have had extensive Classical training, focussing on Shakespeare but also Marlowe. Recently through Stage2, I played Rosencrantz in a five star production of Hamlet. I have also done a lot of contemporary work, including World Premiers of Claire Dowie's plays - notably I will be performing in a brand new play she wrote specifically for Stage2 in January 2016. I have recently gone to Italy to take part in a performance exchange project, with four other companies from all around Europe. We performed Berkoff's Requiem for Ground Zero in a strict physical theatre style. I graduated from Birmingham Ormiston Academy (BOA) in 2014 with Triple Distinction Start for my BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts (Acting). Whilst at BOA, I studied a range of practitioners, took part in regular performances and also gained experience in TV and Radio performing. I also starred in several student films run by the Broadcasting students. The final production we did was put on by the students, and we chose to do Titus Andronicus. I played Demetrius (orginally male), and the stunt sequences and plot with Lavinia continued as normal. Through this show, and other productions, I have gained a good overview of Stage Combat. I write two blogs: one lifestyle and one acting. I also have a YouTube channel, which I like to use as a chance to express my opinions and experiences, but also as a chance to pick up on any habits I have, as far as presenting and entertainment.

Qualifications & Training

I have taken LAMDA Exams in Acting and Musical Theatre gaining up to Distinction at Grade 8. I now teach Acting and Musical Theatre privately and in my first term of teaching, all my pupils achieved between 80 and 100 percent in their results. As part of my teacher training, I did two days at LAMDA over the Summer of 2014, including an Acting workshop. I am a confident singer with a background in Musical Theatre, but also have my own style and do covers of songs on the piano. I am a more than competent dancer, with a good understanding of different styles and am able to pick up choreography very well, even at a difficult level. I can also do choreography and have done for productions in the past. I have done lots of workshops and training with practitioner and writer, Claire Dowie, when performing in the World Premieres of her shows. As part of the recent exchange trip to Italy, I took part in workshops that gave me a good overview of using Theatre as a way to learn languages and communicate with all tongues.

Scuba Diving - Open Water Certificate.
Skiing - Confident doing 'Red' slopes, would be able to do jumps and 'Black' slopes if I had a few days to practise beforehand.
Jet Skiing - Comfortable in operating and riding.
Horse Riding - Confident, can gallop and do jumps.
Stage Combat - No Professional Qualification, but good experience and understanding.
Driving - Full, clean driving license.
Gymnastics - Able to do moves such as Cartwheel, Handstand, etc, as well as good Flexibility - can do the splits and a back bend.

Interests & Hobbies

Other than Acting and Performance, I love all things beauty, fashion and lifestyle. I have a blog and a YouTube channel where I talk about make-up, skincare, hair styles, fashion trends, etc as well as healthy recipes, travelling hints and exercise tips. I also have an Acting blog (sometimes Acting is touched upon on YouTube), where I write posts about theatre seen, plays read, Drama School auditions, tips on learning lines, etc.
I really like cooking and baking and like to experiment with recipes a lot.
I take an active interest in Global politics.
I love music - listening to it and playing/singing it.
I am also really interested in property development and interior design.
I really want to try and learn a second language in Gap Year 2, and I am focussing in on learning Italian.
