About Me
My name is Romy and I'm fifteen years old from West London. I have had some acting experience in various theatre productions at my local theatre in London, the Questors theatre. Most have been speaking roles in youth productions, however I have had a role as an extra in an adult production in the theatre also. These have all been professional productions where I've learnt a lot about acting onstage and how a theatre generally works. I have taken weekly acting classes every week for around six years, but have had no paid experience as an actor. I also have (limited) dance training as I took weekly dance classes for two years, where I was part of two productions and a performance at Sadlers Wells with my dance group. I'm very enthusiastic about acting and learning about how a professional set functions, even if I'm only an extra or work for free.

Employment History & Experience
I have worked in a few productions at my local theatre in West London, the first of which was "House and Garden", a two part production which ran for a week or two. This was an adult production in which I was a child extra. I was also part of the Dick Whittington pantomime a few years later with a non-speaking role, however I was part of two choreographed dance routines. This ran for around two weeks, I think. I was also part of the youth production, Grimm Tales, in which I had two main roles as Hansel (Hansel and Gretel) and Boy (The Iron man), and these performances required quite a lot of line memorising and rehearsal. There was also a dance number involved. The production I was in most recently was another youth production of George Orwell's Animal Farm in which I had a speaking role as one of Napoleon's dogs, Nipper. This also ran for about a week or two and featured actors from as young as ten to eighteen.

Relevant Skills
I would say I'm fairly talented at mastering a variety of accents and impressions, which could be because both my parents are multi-lingual and I grew up speaking (albeit very little) German. I'm also fairly confident picking up some choreography due to a few years of dance training and having done a musical (pantomime). I'm confident learning any amount of lines (a skill I exercise often as I'm currently studying for my Drama GCSE) and also sung in my school choir for a year, meaning I'm fairly confident in my singing capabilities.
Interests & Hobbies
I've always been an avid reader and read as much as I can. In recent years, however, I've also developed a passion for films and trying to find out as much as I can about directing, acting and writing for films. I also love to analyse films after I've seen them and research everything I can about that certain director/actor/production. I also really love creative writing, whether it's poetry, short stories, fiction or occasionally script work. In terms of extra curricular activities I compete in public speaking and debating, and have attended various competitions. A few years ago my team and I won the regional Rotary public speaking competition where I was awarded Best Chairperson, and after that I won "best speaker" at my school's annual debating finals, where my team also won. Since then I've competed in various competitions in the City of London school, Eton, the London School of Economics and state schools such as my own.
