General Experience

I have a wealth of acting, dancing and singing skills that I can bring to the table. Dilligently honed at the Coral School of dancing in Islington, London where I tapped, pliaed (ballet), sang and perform amazing feats of gymnastics including the splits on a weekly basis. This tour de force culminated in my participation in the annual variety showcase at Holloway Polytecnic where I tapped, danced and performed set pieces in front of local thespians, dignaturies and stage mums.

Forced to play the piano at a young age, I have an ear for music that is not always appreciated by others, but hey! thems the breaks you take.

I have gone on to bring the house down in many a school play, often taking a minor role and making it my own. I was highly commended by head master and mayor for my performance as the cockney narrator in a performance of Cinderella and the ugly sistrens.

More sedately I played an integrel part in a Customer Service initiative for the Department for Work and Pensions. I facilitated customer service training events for staff across grades. This proved very sucessfull and resulted in an improved customer service experience for customers and colleagues.

I received an extra mile award for my services and participation in this program. I also participated in other role play activities for other staff training events. This involved playing the part of a-typical dificult customer to enable trainee advisors to consolidate their learning and test their skills.

Relevant Skills

I have performed and facilitated at employment skills training workshops for DWP, Working Links and more recently RISE! Empowerment.

I also performed a motivational piece called Destiny at a fund raising event for the Little Big Theatre company.

Interests & Hobbies

Supporting others less fortunate than myself, art, fashion, design and wishing I had something expensive to show off with on antiques road show.
