About Me

I am a 62 year old who does not feel his age. Since redundancy in 2009 I re-evaluated my life and instead of slipping into a well of blame and negativity I discoverd the writings of Eckhart Tolle. These writings inspired me, a sceptic, to recognise the value of living in the present with a timeless attitude. This has resulted in a non-judgemental, open-minded outlook that allows thins to be and for life to flow.
I am married to Claire and I have 5 children agred between 31-16 and a granddaugher aged 2.
I recently attended a creative writing course and I believe that I may possess a talent which has lain dormant.

Experience & Qualifications

General Experience

Architectural Technician/Technologist. With over 35 years experience in both private and public sector architectural practices as a project supervisor. I have the ability to produce clear and concise production information within set deadlines. Experienced researcher and specifier all elements of building materials. Clients have expressed satisfaction with my attention to, and ability to respond to, their instructions. After redundancy in 2009, I undertook training as an Adviser with North Down Citizens Advice Bureau and worked as a voluntary member of staff advising members of the public of their rights in relation to diverse elements of government legislation. Experience of both this and the years in architecture led me to a role as a Property Inspector where I combined technical and client communication skills to great effect and acquired a new one as an administrator.
