About Me

My name is Riccardo Borgia, I was born and raised in London to Italian parents. I am 30 years old and have been obsessed with TV and film for as long as I can remember.

I studied TV and Film Production at Southampton Solent University which only heightened my passion and love for the industry. I currently co-own a media production company called OPC Media, where we focus on corporate and event promotion and weddings. However the dream is to have a TV series green lit and to enter a few indie shorts to film festivals around the world.

During my time studying I worked closely with the acting department and although I have no formal acting training, I do understand the ins and outs of being on set. This has been further developed during the shooting process of creating promotional videos where actors and actresses have been required and having to direct these actors to capture the perfect shots to express the right on screen moments our clients require.

I am looking to get into some extra work to gain more on set experience and further my knowledge of the TV and film production process. I also would love to test my hand at background, walk on and reaction acting. I feel I could add something genuine and natural looking to any production piece and I am willing to work hard to make this possible. I am currently based in Enfield, North London and have access to a vehicle so transport anywhere in the UK is not an issue.

I am completely available for an projects coming up and I am very flexible with any days and hours that are required. The only upcoming day I will be unavailable is Christmas day.

I have played drums since the age of 10 and performed in a number of bands at local venues and pubs with the biggest being around 300 people. I don't get to play as often as I like these days but still manage to have a jam at least twice a week either solo or playing with other talented musicians.
