Experience & Qualifications
General Experience
David Fernández Riberas’s Theatre Company.
• Vocational training and became familiar with Avant-Garde theatre.
• Asked to perform as a girl on the verge of suicide. A social outcast due to her unacceptance of the present social structure and mentality of those that surrounded her. My ‘voice-over’ in this piece of work is still being used as part of the theatre’s on-going performances all around Spain.
Qualifications & Training
Acting Classes in English on Elizabethan and XXI Century Theatre with the Theatre Director - Fátima Peón Torres.
Studied techniques such as:
• Stanislavsky Method,
• Psychological Gesture,
• Lecocq Method and
• Techniques by Pina Bauch.
Worked individually with the Director. Studied an Introduccion to XX-XXI Century Theatre. Worked with texts from Sarah Kane and Samuel Becket amongst others. Intensive performance work on Shakespeare's plays, mainly on female drama monologues.
The Theatre School of Ponteareas: I studied - Basic Physical Movements, Mime and Clown Techniques, Breathing Techniques, Monologues, Text Analysis, Exercises to complement the body in space and Voice Modulation.
At 13: given a role on stage in the local theatre acting as ‘a Soul’ that had to find a way to escape the role-playing game created by the ‘sisters’ – ‘Life and Death’.
At 14, acted in a ‘black comedy monologue’. This was of a woman with a bi-polar disorder, who in her mind had killed her neighbour´s husband because she had fallen in love with his wife and then, what transpired through her imagination.

Interests & Hobbies
Reading, Cinema and Travelling (Paris, Rome and London). Due to my over-active imagination, I have since Junior School, written stories about myself living in a parallel universe and have read these imagined stories to the children in my home town. Consequently, one of these stories ‘Cada lectura es una aventura’ got me to the semi-final of The National Essay Competition of Spain when I was 12.
Swimming, Cycling, Badminton, Mountain Walking, Tennis and Jiu-jitsu. I was a finalist in two annual badminton tournaments. I had tennis coaching for three years and five years of swimming training.
