About Me

My name is Rebecca Ashforth and I\'m 21 years old. I\'m interested in taking part in all sorts of acting whether it be narrating, acting on stage or in film, a dancer or becoming part of a physical theatre structure. I\'ve studied Performing Art\'s for 3 years in total and during this education and afterwards have taken part in many Theatre Productions, plays, 3 Dance Shows (I\'ve been doing Ballet since November 2015) and even been in a few Student Films. Also, I\'ve received a positive review from a critic from the Gazette that in \'As You Like It\' by William Shakespeare that a colleague and myself were a \'great comedy-duo\', AND in 2014 won the \'Best Actress\' Colins Award based on acting in a student film in which a member from Warner Brothers came to speak with us. I\'ve a great passion for acting and performing. I love how knowing the script or music and then using your imagination can really get you into character, how it can really put yourself in their world. Then, experimenting to find the best feel for that piece. I hope to continue to learn while searching for acting work and gain more experience, for I find the end product a very rewarding feeling. Though I\'m shy in person I work very hard and do my best to continue to improve my skills in the hopes of one day being classed as a professional.
