About Me

Rav is an Essex boy, a city boy but is also a lover of chick flicks. He’s a real people person with a natural charm (the ‘natural charm’ bit is according to his mum – bless!).
Born to African parents, Rav was brought up on the not so mean streets of Hornchurch, Essex. He’s often found suited and booted on a night out ‘with the boys’ drinking a ‘gin and slim’ or a ‘Strawberry Woo Woo’. But it’s people that gives Rav his real kicks in life.

He’s from a close knit home, and his friends are like his extended family. He is a really nice guy that likes to get on with everyone. Working on the trading floor is great fun for Rav. Early morning starts, loads of ‘banter’ and closing a deal is the icing on the cake.

He currently hosts 'Reloaded with Rav' every Thursday evening on FM1FM, whilst has also done a bit of acting and was the lead role in Meera Syal’s Generation Next – performing at the prestigious National Theatre!

So what's the dream presenting job?... Anything to do with business, people’s stories and having fun. From journalistic BBC Three docs about current issues to spin-off entertainment shows.
