About Me

My name is Queen but most people call me Queenie. My style of music is anything from gospel, RnB, Soul, Neo- Soul, Funk, Jazz, Inspirational and Motivational, World Music, Modern- Country, Afro Beat, to Pop music.
My influences are late Ms Whitney Houston, SWV, Anita Baker, Oleta Adams, Tony Braxton, Mariah Carey, Lalah Hathaway, Kim Burrell, etc
I started singing in the choir from age 5 and have participated in different talent shows here in the UK, Nigeria and Amsterdam. I was successfully promoted to round 2 of the X-factor auditions stage in 2010.
Currently, I still sing in the choir, at weddings and other ceremonies and occasionally perform, in the summer time, at the Live Lounge in Lakeside, West Thurrock.
