About Me

My name is Fara Mahabub and I’m a freelance model. I have a huge passion for expressive fashion in particularly creating outfits that tell a story. Additionally I’m passionate about creating out of the box looks by experimenting with different types of materials and looks, that will eventually set new trends ( I can confidently say that in my younger years I have definitely been a trend setter). I’d like to consider myself a creative individual whom isn’t afraid to make daring choices. I don’t like to limit myself to a specific genre or genres as I deem myself to be very versatile and fluid with my fashion. Different genres of fashion express different emotions and to me it’s all about embodying the emotion the artist is trying to portray through the garment. I have never worked as a model nor I have any experience however I have the drive to learn the trade and expand my skills set. I know the fact that not having any experience might set me back a bit, but view me as a rough diamond right now. All I need is a helping hand to teach me the trade and how to carry myself within the industry,in addition I promise to take that hand and shine brighter than the sun. I aspire to be a jack of all trades. Individuals with multiple talents are often viewed as impressive and therefore seen as assets.I deem myself to be an asset because to me my work is my brand and I take it very seriously, I firmly believe that’s what differentiates greatness from mediocrity and once the reputation is tarnished I know I can never build it back up the same way again. I’m always very passionate about everything I do, my philosophy is give your 100% or don’t give anything, I firmly stand by that to this day. Getting into the modelling/fashion industry is something I have been passionate since I was a kid and not only it feels like I’m about to realise my life long dream but also it makes me feel empowered to know that I can potentially become somebody’s role model one day. I want to show little girls who have insecurities that it’s ok to have insecurities and you don’t necessarily have to fit a mold. You are the writer of your story, if you have the right attitude then you can get anything you want in life no matter what. I aspire to have a big enough platform one day where I can touch people’s hearts through art and fashion.
