About Me

Hi my name's Poppy, I'm 23 years old and in my final year of university studying physiotherapy. Although this is my chosen profession, I was born into an arty family and this is where my heart lies. My father is a musician and my mother was a professional model for 40 years, and is now a professional artist. I am looking to earn some extra money over the next 6 months, and would love to build on my portfolio, as this is something I am passionate to pursue part-time.

2010-2012: A* for A level Moving Image, which consisted of making films and animations, as well as acting for other student films both in real film and photo animations.
2013- 2016: I have acted as a patient with different pathologies for NHS physiotherapist simulation learning activities and University students' exams.
2015: I was shortlisted and chosen as one of two people to feature in an advert for Google by Milkwood Productions.

2013-2016: Art modelling for multiple art groups including nude.
2015-2016: Modelling for fashion photographers to build their portfolios as well as my own.

Although I currently lack experience in modelling, it is something I really enjoy and would love to pursue. I am comfortable doing modelling of any kind, and have a fit physique- attending the gym five days out of seven and teach fitness and exercise.

General Experience

Hello, I am a happy, bubbly but calming individual who is always smiling! I have worked in a pub for 6 years, and was previously manager for 2 years when I worked full time. I work on the bar and waitressing, developing good communication skills and love working with people.

I have previously done promotional and marketing work for companies such as McCurrach Tacticles and Tradewins Ltd. This included leafletting, counting stock, building trade stands and approaching managers if they were missing products.

I have done various small acting a modelling jobs but it is something I am hoping to build on.

For the past 9 years I have been making videos, and putting them on youtube. This started off as a hobby, but after obtaining an A* in Moving Image and having my work selected to show at a local cinema and open days, I feel this is something I would like to continue professionally part-time. I have a Panasonic HD camcorder and GoPro Hero 4 Black, and edit with Sony Vegas Pro Platinum edition.

A level: Moving Image A*, Human Biology A, Psychology B, Extended Project C.
University: Predicted 2:1 in Bachelor of Science 2016.
