About Me

I am fun loving guy with loads of potential that needs to be channelled in the right direction, with regards to acting. I am always smiling and I love to make people laugh and get pleasure from doing this. I work very hard in my day job and always strive to do my best, but my job is not my passion even though I love to help children and their families to have a better life and I have made a change in some of their lives.

I am a senior family support worker, working for social services and have done for 17 years now. My current role means that I have to do a lot of talking to children with behavioural problem and parents that need to improve / change their parenting style, which means that at times a have to be assertive, passionate, welcoming, understanding, controlling, comforting compassionate and resilient. So I do have to play different roles within my day to day work. I believe that with these very different skills, it could help my acting career develop.

I am also an x professional basketball player who played for Birmingham bullet, Telford turbo's and Portsmouth basketball club back in my hay day. I still play a little basketball, table tennis and other sports just to keep fit as I believe this is important if I want to follow my dream.

I enjoy watching movies of all kind, especially action movies and hope to be in a feature film at some point, but I understand that this is a very hard industry to become successful and it will take a lot of dedicated hard work, which I am prepared to do. What ever I have done in my life I have always strive to do my very best and this opportunity is no different. I am dedicated from the start and will see that through however long this takes. I believe that I can make my mark on the acting profession and I intend to do this to the very best of my ability.

I also love to watch murder mystery and suspense programme, trying to figure out who is the killer and who is the suspicious parties. This captivates me and has me at the edge of my seat. I love to watch other show as well, which include documentaries, soap and comedies as laughter is very important to me.

General Experience

I don't have any acting experience what so ever, however I am hard working and willing to learn and take on board what ever is necessary to strive and achieve in this industry.

I feel a calling to this, and have done for many years, and this is my opportunity to shine and I intend to do so. I have always wanted to act even from an early age, and I wish I did do something about it. I am going with my heart now and not looking back. I should have done this a long time ago but it's never to late.

I feel you have to go with your heart and do the things you really want to do and follow your dreams. I would love to act in a movie and fulfil that dream and I am going to make it happen. I would love to do more that but you have to take one step at a time.

Relevant Skills

I have only been on family fortunes and that was 30 years ago, but I have always wanted to become an actor but never took it seriously enough.

I have recently worked with the Agatha raisin: the Quiche of death production team as part of the congregation, which I really enjoyed doing and it also gave me a feel for being around camera’s and a full production team. This was a wonderful experience to do and be part of and I believe there is more opportunities to do other work in the near future, which I want to be part of as I will gain valuable experience.

I have also been working on a new programme coming to sky 1, The Five, playing a PCSO police officer. Again I have gained valuable experience working on this production that will also assist me in the future.

I hope that whoever views my profile will see something in me that they may possibly exploit and nurture as I have the desire and the passion that will help me make my dream come true.

Interests & Hobbies

I love going on holiday at least twice a year and have been to USA several times, Jamaica several times, Canada, Holland, Sweden, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain to name a few and i will continue to travel the world as this was also another one of the things that i always wanted to do.

i love cooking all types of foods from different parts of the world as i really love trying foods from different cultures. i am currently going on a Mediterranean cruise within the next week or so, hence the date for my audition is in September.

I love fashion and shopping for new clothes as this gives me a good sense of feeling in new clothes. i do like to dress sharp and at times i have to as i have to attend court when i am at work.

I also dress casual as well as I love to dance and attend family functions and other parties.
