I'm known as an environmentalist with expertise in a range of areas including household sustainability, renewables, waste, food growing and radical ecological retrofit of housing.

Interests & Hobbies

I'm passionate about community food growing and currently run Foodshare - fresh food banks. I set up educational food growing spaces in schools and universities - a proportion of produce is donated to partners including centres for the homeless, community kitchens and hospice.

Miscellaneous Information

I was named by the Independent on Sunday as "One of 100 British women of the last century who have changed the world". I'm a pioneer of the ecological retrofit movement.
