About Me

I am 39year old family man with a competitive streak. I enjoy a challenge and my current pursuit is Ultra white collar Boxing. Which is where they take a professional , give them 8 weeks training and then pit them against another contender in a full contact ,12 round boxing match .All for cancer research. I am blessed to have 4 beautiful children and a very attractive and understanding Fiancée. We are due to get married next year after my scariest moment to date. I am usually a confident person but when I asked the school if I could propose they decided they wanted some media coverage for the school. They said I could if I done it in an assembly which I jumped at the chance as its where we met 23 years ago. I got all of her old mates there in a scam that it was the schools 50th anniversary . The moment was finally here. I was confident up until that point when 140 year 9 kids from all walks of life filled up the hall with all the teachers and old students.As I had a few words written out as so not to cause suspicion , I thought I was going to get heckled at my own proposal !! The assembly commenced and after a few mins with the Teacher the stage was all ours. we were introduced as old students coming to give our thoughts and experiences about being at the school in our day. I was nominated as the spokesman un be known to my Future Mrs that no one else was going to speak. But to my amazement I held the crowd and even got a few laughs . The moment came and I said" that the school had even more memories for me as its where I met my partner " I turned to her and asked her to join me. she did reluctantly as she is very shy and I then got down on one knee ! I muttered the words will you do me the honour .... but the reaction of the kids made it a special moment I will never forget as all the lil ladies screamed and the lads cheered. Just goes to show that the thing your most scared of turn out to be the Best. We even ended up on the front page of the local newspaper!
