About Me

My name is Olly Bell, I'm 20 years old and was born in Leeds but now live in London. I'm in my final year of studying Contemporary Dance at Trinity Laban conservatoire of music and dance. I also enjoy djing, following skateboard fashion and playing songs on my guitar at an Open Mic night.

Employment History & Experience

I have performed both Ballet and Contemporary dance pieces in theatres throughout the country such as the Laban theatre, West Yorkshire playhouse and the Riley Theatre and have also been involved in a flashmob with Punch Drunk at Selfridges on Oxford Street. Additionally I am also employed as a dance teaching assistant and have worked with children aged from 4 up to 15.

General Experience

I've been in professional training to be a professional dancer since I was 13 where I studied on the Centre for Advance Training at Northern Ballet before transferring to Northern School of Contemporary. I now study in Greenwich at Laban. I have been involved in many Ballet and Contemporary dances in both theatres and site specific work such as in Selfridges on Oxford Street.

Qualifications & Training

I am in my final year of training for a Ba(hons) in Contemporary dance. I also have a Drama A-Level and a Music Btec level 3.

Other Information

Relevant Skills

I am a very proficient dancer in both Ballet and Contemporary Technique but am versatile and have had experiences in other genres such as street dance.

Interests & Hobbies

I enjoy djing, playing guitar and singing at a local open mic night (mostly indie/brit pop covers such as the Stone Roses and The Charlatans). I also regular train with my Conservatoire Football team.
