About Me

I am a 22 year old girl who has a massive interest within the performing arts. I knew that I wanted to work within the arts when I was fourteen. It started off with me going to theatre train, when I done my first London show The Beatles as I was standing up on that stage the curtains came up and I can’t explain the feeling that I felt that night. From this experience I knew what I wanted to be and nothing was going to add up to this.

What pushed me further was when I was fifteen I went for an interview with a modelling agency and from my surprise I fitted all the catergreys except from three. From this a company got in contact with me asking if I’ll join their company, being only fifteen my mum didn’t want me travailing to London on my own and that I could join a company when I’m older were I would be more responsible for myself. I didn’t want to do nothing which leads me to West Kent College. I have been here since first diploma and have enjoyed it so much that I completed my foundation degree there

General Experience

I have gained acting experience outside of uni on a voluntary basis.

I have toured around with a T.I.E group called History troupe that explores Christian drama.

I am also currently helping out in Helen O’Grady Drama academy; an after school club that helps to build a Childs confidence.

When I was younger I was part of a theatre train where I got the chance to experience “a licence to thrill” and “the Beatles” in a London theatre.

Through theatre train I got the chance to become an extra in an Opera show held at the Dartford Orchard.

I attend classes and have a privet lesson each week in ballroom and Latin dancing I often attend competitions. I also have experience in physical theatre, movement and period dances; I pick up dance very quickly.

Qualifications & Training

I have completed a first diploma in performing arts with distinction.

I then completed a National Diploma in acting exceeding triple distinction.

I have also completed a foundation degree performing arts (drama) were I gained highly commended. I have recently finished a BA Hons in Drama were I am waiting for my grades.

I have taken up ballroom and Latin dancing two times a week, I also go gym and swimming once a week and loan a horse two times a week. I feel it is important to widen my skills and keep fit; I feel these things are great to do and I also really enjoy them.
