About Me

I am a 22 year old mixed raced male. My dad is from uganda and my mum is from england, I was born and raised in Leicestershire.

I went to university and studied business management. When I was in my last year of university I had something quite dramatic happen but it never fails to make me laugh.... so basically I stayed round a friends house and the next morning I wake up get ready and leave for work. As I walk towards the elevator I start to feel a bit drowsy, I push the button for the elevator and as the doors open I collapse face first on to steel floor. Ouch right! I wake up lying on my side and blood all over me, my friend had put me in the recovery position, now this is what I find funny I wake up to him almost fainting himself with a look of sheer panic on his face. I thought I was going to have to put him in the recovery position.

I went to the hospital to get my chin stitched up and have an x-ray of my jaw because I thought I had broken when I decided to fall face first and kiss the steel floor of the lift. Fortunately I hadn’t broken it but they did catch something wrong with my heart so I got transferred to a cardiac hospital by ambulance. After a few tests I got a possible diagnosis of heart disease and spent the week in hospital. After being a lab rat for the week undergoing various tests, they couldn’t determine if I had what they thought so I had a loop recorder fitted above my heart.

You wouldn’t believe it, it gets even more dramatic! Just one month after leaving the hospital I collapsed again this time in my bathroom, I won’t tell you what I was doing at the time just in case you’re eating. Any who I later got told by my cardiologist that my heart had stopped for 11 seconds. Don’t worry though I’m fine now, I haven’t collapsed since and seem to be back to normal.

Going through this has made me think twice about the way I live my life. I’ve become a care free spirit who’s outspoken but loves hard and enjoys life to the fullest!
