About Me

My name is Natasha Ryan, I am 18 years old and from the North West. I take a great interest in theatre and have played many Shakespeare roles across the country and in Ireland. I have also featured in short films and would like to expand my experience in film and television. I am an enthusiastic performer and I always come up with interesting ideas to explore a character. I enjoy comedy but also love the complexity of tragedy.

General Experience

I have featured in a short film named Sad . Man . Smiling by PurpleCoat Productions playing the role of Blaise. I have also taken part in a student film named 'The Anticipated' playing the role of Amanda. I have also taken part in a touring Shakespeare production of 'Twelfth Night' playing the role of Maria that visited the UK and Ireland. I have also played the role of Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream in rep with playing Guildenstern in Hamlet at Smock Alley Theatre in Dublin. I played the role of Lady Macbeth in a Youth theatre production of Macbeth that acted as a piece of immersion theatre. I also took on the role of Bernarda in Federico Garcia Lorca's play "The House of Bernarda Alba".

Interests & Hobbies

I take great interest in Shakespeare and classical theatre. I also love comedy. Alongside my interests in performing, I enjoy teaching in a Youth theatre named the Peninsula Academy for Film and Theatre Arts where I help young people express themselves in the creative arts. I also enjoy travelling and seeing places of interest. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family.
