At The Sandbanks Hotel I was part of the entertainments programme throughout summer at the hotel. This involved working 8 hours every day 6 days a week, with the addition of rehearsing and performing for 3 shows every week. A typical days work would include leading activities for the children/teenagers/adults at the hotel to take part in such as; beach volleyball, beach football, face painting, party games/dances, karaoke, pub quizzes, table tennis, limbo, family disco, darts and so on. I gained many skills from this job placement however it was essential to have confidence, good customer service, good communication skills and most importantly your own individuality as an appealing character for the hotel.
