About Me

Perhaps the pleasure I take in impersonating people, creating characters and letting them loose on the general public, stems from my long-lived passion for the Arts†Or perhaps I just have a wicked sense of humour! It began at a Textiles Convention, aged 11, where I took on the role of an Australian tourist. By the end of the day I had convinced and befriended Betty, Crochet Connoisseur from Devon. Then onto my studies in Liverpool where I staged an Invisible Theatre performance involving a marriage proposal gone horribly wrong, and an unsuspecting jeweller. In the 6 months I worked for Richard Curtis I was regularly requested to sing M People Classics in my best Heather Small impression. Following that I became a 53-year old depressive Mormon whilst training at East 15 (but that was more of a method acting thing). And most recently this Summer I was planted in the audience at the Bloomsbury Theatre to play the irked-off girlfriend of stand-up comedian Reggie Watts.
