About Me
My name is Mimi Smithson and I am an 18 year old performer/entertainer from South London. I have a passion for performing in all disciplines ranging from Dance, singing and acting. I have been training in these disciplines for 11 years now, having qualifications in ISTD Ballet, Modern and Tap, and other training in Jazz, Commercial and Contemporary dance. I also have 5 Qualifications in LAMDA drama, all at Distinction level.
I have been training at The BRIT School of Performing Arts and Technology in Musical Theatre for four years, and I have a strong knowledge of singing repertoire and technique, acting technique and practitioners and strong skill in Acting through song. I have achieved a Double distinction star grade in my BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Performing arts (GCSE Level) and a Triple distinction star grade in my BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Musical Theatre (A Level).
I have also performed in a variety of shows, covering various repertoire and styles including Fame, Copacabana, White Christmas, Oklahoma, Zombie Prom, Annie Get Your Gun, Mary Poppins and Crazy For You. I have an avid love for performing and a passion for hard work and commitment to outstanding entertainment.
